
John Barham has served Solid Ground Security Solutions as V.P./Director of Training since July 2024. Previously, John served more than 30 years in state and federal law enforcement. John ended his federal career serving as the first Use of Force Program Manager for the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS) / Office of Law Enforcement (OLE) / Training & Development Unit. This position entailed the creation and development of a new Use of Force Program including four separate groups in the areas of Use of Force Instructor Group, a Tactical Medicine Group, a Crisis Negotiations Group, and an OLE existing/expanded Firearms Instructor Group.
John served over twenty years as a special agent with the USFWS / OLE combating global wildlife black market trafficking and protecting our Nation’s natural resources. John also served six years on the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force in the Western District of Kentucky during that period. Before federal service, John worked for the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency as a Wildlife Officer and Lead Officer (Sergeant) position. During John’s time with TWRA, he served four years as a contract Adjunct Instructor for the East Tennessee Reginal Law Enforcement Academy John is a follower of Jesus, and his true passion is serving his wife, three sons and daughter.
